ELMORE BOOTH
Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland
(Architecture)
Brand identity and rebrand for Elmore Booth, an Auckland, New Zealand architecture studio. Architecture studio branding created to reflect the practice's evolution into a creative partnership, developed from Oli Booth Architecture. The identity centres on a concept of duality and balance, two equal halves represented through a line that divides and sways across compositions. Colour drawn from tones consistent across the architects' built work, grounding the brand in the practice's existing material language. A considered rebrand that supported a smooth client transition while honouring an established reputation, designed by PERKS, a New Zealand graphic design studio specialising in brand identity.

THE BRIEF
Oli Booth Architecture had evolved into a genuine partnership. The rename to Elmore Booth needed an identity to match, something that felt true to the practice, and that existing clients would receive with confidence.
APPROACH
The concept centres on duality. Two equal halves, two perspectives meeting. A line becomes the primary graphic device, dividing and swaying across compositions as though finding its point of balance, repeating throughout the identity subtly.
Colour was drawn from tones already present in the architects' built work. The palette was already there, the identity became an act of recognition rather than invention.
OUTCOME
A restrained identity that reflects the nature of the practice. The transition was handled carefully, the rollout steady. It was received with warmth, a brand that carries the trust already built, while giving the partnership room to move forward.
